My job is called authoring, and I create motions and effects.
Specifically, I use After Effects to add movement to still images created by 2D designers, and I combine animation, 2D, and 3D materials to create new effects and auxiliary materials that suit the materials. I aim to create video production that makes movement look impressive and flashy.
What is rewarding and appealing about your job?
I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I can actually bring to life the motion I’ve imagined in my head.
I still have little experience, so it’s not easy to create the video I want right away, so one of the attractions of this job is the sense of accomplishment I feel when, after much trial and error, I finally create a video that I’m satisfied with and think, “This is it!”
Another attraction of this job is that I can see the video I’ve created on the actual device. Authoring is a process that combines various materials, like the finishing touches, so it’s both tense and rewarding.

I’ve always been interested in 3DCG, but since joining the company, I’ve had more opportunities to work with Element3D and see 3D designers at work, which has further fueled my interest.
I’ve been gradually learning more about 3DCG in my spare time, and in the future, I’d like to take on the challenge of 3DCG production more seriously in order to broaden the scope of my video production.

I joined the company with absolutely no experience in gaming machine production. However, thanks to my senior colleagues who carefully taught me from the basics, my understanding of video production for gaming machines is deepening day by day.
The company has an environment where even those with no experience can grow, so I think this is an ideal workplace for those who want to acquire new skills or take on a new challenge!
