My responsibilities vary depending on the project, but I control the LCD display, sound playback, lamp playback, etc.
I also develop tools used in development.
For example,

– Array and stop data creation tools

– Other development support tools and scripts
I create things like these.
What is rewarding and appealing about your job?
I think the most rewarding part is being able to create something that actually works and having others enjoy what I’ve created.
What’s interesting about this job is that, because it’s performance control, the things we create are flashy and easy to understand.
It also has many unique features from a technical standpoint.
It requires know-how unique to embedded development, not general-purpose machines like PCs, and defects are absolutely unacceptable because they can’t be fixed once the product is released to the market, so it can be difficult, but I think the trial and error of figuring out how to overcome these challenges is also one of the attractions.
Also, since each project is worked on by a small team of 1 or 2 performance control programmers, it’s easy to exercise individual discretion in terms of design and code writing, which I feel is another positive aspect of the work environment.
What is the appeal of ALEX?
I think the appeal of this job is that it allows a great deal of individual discretion and allows for relatively free movement.
As long as you can work towards your goal, you can determine to a certain extent the process to get there, which makes it a very comfortable place to work, and

I don’t want to be satisfied with the current situation just because I can do what’s necessary, but will continue to think about whether there are better ways, and continue to grow as a person.

As I actually use the tools, I have come across inconveniences that were not anticipated during development, as well as requests for additional functions.
I would like to improve the efficiency of my work by addressing such issues.

I had some programming experience when I joined the company, but I remember struggling at first because there were so many things I didn’t understand.
I realized that the only way to acquire knowledge and skills that you can actually use in your work is through working on the job.
Of course, those around you will support you, so it’s okay if you don’t understand something at first and you don’t need to worry too much, but ultimately it’s absolutely necessary to learn new things on your own.
Whether you can learn with motivation and a desire to improve at that time will have a big impact on your future growth.
